Allow for downloads of videos for playback offline or in areas with poor internet
Tried to play the commercial video, but it kept stalling out etc. I’m in Asia with a 200mbps connection. Would hae been great to be able to:
- download in background to play locally
- Have some kind of download speed indicator vs just the spinner
- If the videos are not behind a global CDN, add one

Hi! Thank you for the feedback! We have chosen not to allow downloads of our premium shows but any media you store locally should work just fine on Theater and Television, via Plex if not simply your own Media Library or iCloud Drive.
A speed indicator is an interesting suggestion, thank you.
The videos are most definitely behind a global CDN and I’ve asked them if they (or, better yet, Azure) had any outages earlier today.

Disappointing to hear about no download support. Not everyone has fast Wi-Fi also limits the ability to enjoy the content while flying or travelling hopefully, you guys reconsider.
